My Secret Marketing with low Budget

It was a very sunny day, when I heard my phone ringing ……

Ringing ---- Ringing… I was too lazy to even check the name of who was calling at that time cause of the whether wasn’t comfortable. I picked up the call and as usual I started with “Hello, who is speaking”…..

Stranger: Hi, and he continues with saying don’t you have my number,

Me: I quickly recognize his voice, (he was my business partner) … we exchange greetings the normal way we usual do.

After that he proceed by saying:

Partner: “I called you to discuss about an important issue with you”

Me: I replied “am all ears”

Partner:  we have being doing business quite a while and every time, we need to struggle to get customers, we succeed in one ways and get discourage in other ways… another thing is that if you take a good look now you will see that many small business owners doesn’t have the capacity to invite influencers such as (Musicians, actors, comedians and lots more) to market their product cause of the high rate that these people charge in promoting one’s business.

Me: I replied by saying” your thought is on the right way”

Partner: take a good look at women whom try their best at homes to do one or two things and also implement strategies to get customers, many of this women get discourage when a big company that does the same as they do invites different influencers to promote their businesses, those people says in mind “The kings are here, we are just followers of their kingdom’. 

Me: exactly, that’s right,

Partner: But listen to what I am going to say, I want us to discuss some little strategies on what can attract customers, visitors to patronize our small businesses cause of the cost of inviting influencers. Also, promoting businesses online is also a good way but remember when selling different products you needs to be updating your pages, website and other social media handles with the latest on daily basis, sometimes using paid ads pays but in the other hands many business owners keeps recording businesses on loss due to the cost of promoting their businesses affect their profit margin not to balance, some end up investing part of their capital and not getting fully result. However, online promotion really helps corporate business and also individuals that so true but when its ends up being done with low budget its affect many small businesses.

Me: you’re really on the way…. At this point I was really enjoying the discussion but I have to think of another way due to the hot weather, I decided to tell him that let me excuse myself so that I can get some rest and I will meet you later in the day to continue discussing. And I simply hang up the call….

I decided to meet up with him as promised…. We continued our discussion which was earlier started

Partner: what do you thing can add value to business marketing apart from all the mentioned above…. 

Me: I panic not even knowing what idea may work out….

Partner: don’t think too much for now but let me explain my thought in brief and you think about it over the night…
